The discovery of a new genetic marker for warfarin dosage has just been described in the peer-reviewed journal, Blood Online, in an article entitled "CYP4F2 genetic variant alters required warfarin dose." The discovery was made by a group at the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation led by Michael D. Caldwell, M.D., Ph.D.
