Osmetech's management team has extensive experience in the business of medical diagnostics.
Chairman. Former head of Shield Diagnostics (now Axis-Shield plc), where he spearheaded the initial stages of development of a new diagnostic for heart problems. Mr. Hall has also held senior positions at US healthcare giant Abbott.
Chief Executive Officer. Formerly COO at Osmetech for more than 2 years and was instrumental in the restructuring of the organisation as a medical devices company. Prior to joining Osmetech, Mr. White was a senior consultant in Arthur D. Little Ltd's corporate finance practice.
Non-executive Director from September 2002. Appointed to the Board in February 1998 as Director of Development and was appointed Chief Technology Officer in October 1999. Founder and former Chief Executive of Neopath, a diagnostic imaging company, and Advanced Technology Labs, a medical diagnostic ultrasound company later acquired by Squibb Corporation. Mr Kuenster is also Chairman of UMD Technology Inc.
Chief Financial Officer. Previously Group Finance Director of London-listed Bluebird Toys, until its take-over by Mattel Inc. Mr. Sandilands qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse.
President of OMD. Previously Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Gen-Probe and President and Chief Operating Officer of Nanogen, two major international companies in the genetics and infectious diseases markets.
VP Molecular Diagnostics R&D and Business Development. Formerly Sr. Director Business Development bioMérieux North America with responsibility for new technologies for its molecular biology business. Dr. McKinley also successfully in-licensed technology from Gen-Probe (TMA) and Affymetrix (DNA-chip).
