Bill Coty

Vice President, Applied Research and Technology Assessment joined Motorola Life Sciences in 2000, and has led the eSensor® product development program since 2001 with Motorola, Clinical Micro Sensors and now Osmetech Molecular Diagnostics. Before joining Motorola, he held VP-level positions in the clinical diagnostics and biotechnology industries with Microgenics Corp. and DiscoveRx, Inc., and has held senior R&D positions with Boehringer Mannheim and Roche Diagnostic Systems.

 

Gary R. Gust, Ph.D.

Vice President of Systems Development joined the company upon its sale to Osmetech in July 2005.  He has over 25 years experience in hardware, software and consumable development in the diagnostics and medical device marketplaces.  He has held executive R&D positions with companies ranging from start-ups to large companies such as Alcon Surgical.

 

Robert S. Dicheck

Vice President, Quality, Regulatory and Clinical Affairs joined Osmetech in November 2005.  Previously, he was Vice President Worldwide QA/RA for Inverness Medical Innovations, and spent almost 14 years in QA/RA management with Johnson & Johnson before consulting as an industry expert on the U.S. GMP/Quality System Regulations, European Medical Device and IVD Directives.  His areas of specialty include enterprise-wide quality management systems for regulatory compliance of medical devices, diagnostics and pharmaceuticals.  He is a member of RAPS, ASQ, AAMI and IEEE.

 

Dan Bowman

Vice President of Global Commercial Operations joined Osmetech in December 2005. He has over 15 years of Sales and Marketing Management experience within the diagnostic market. Before joining Osmetech, he was Executive Vice President of Commercial Operations at Gentra Systems and has held senior positions within Applied Imaging and Idexx Laboratories.

 

Edward Owen Kreusser, Esq.

Vice President, Intellectual Property and Legal Affairs, joined Osmetech in June 2006 after more than ten years managing and cultivating start-up and publicly traded biotech IP portfolios with major law firms. His experience includes, in addition to strategic patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, due diligence and opinion writing, experience in corporate, regulatory and insurance matters, as well as participation in high-stakes IP litigation and quasi-litigation, both in the United States and abroad.

 

Pankaj Singhal, Ph.D.

Vice President, Operations joined Clinical Micro Sensors in 2000 prior to the company’s acquisition by Motorola Life Sciences and subsequent acquisition by Osmetech in 2005.  He held various positions of increasing responsibility in R&D, Product Transfer and Manufacturing Operations before leading the Operations team that commercialized the eSensor products at Osmetech.  He is a Motorola certified six sigma black-belt and has extensive experience in establishing and improving manufacturing (DMAIC) and development (DFSS, DMADV) processes, and holds several patents in the areas of DNA diagnostics, electrochemical sensors and microfluidics.

 

Mathew Longiaru, Ph. D.
Senior Vice President of Product Development joined Osmetech in October 2007.  He brings more than 25 years experience in molecular diagnostics and before joining the company, he was Vice President of R&D for Molecular Diagnostics for Vectrant Technologies Inc.  Prior to that, Dr. Longiaru held various positions of increasing responsibility at Gen-Probe Incorporated from 1991 to 2004.  As Vice President of Product Development at Gen-Probe, he led the development team that commercialized multiple products and platforms for the molecular diagnostics market.
