Further to the Directors' share purchases reported last month, Osmetech plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce that on 15 March 2004, Mr Alfred Marek, President of the Osmetech Critical Care Division (OPTI) purchased 261,900 ordinary shares of 1p each at a price of 4.2p per share.
