Disclosure of Significant Shareholdings
Osmetech PLC ('Osmetech' or 'the Company') (AIM:OMH) announces that it has received a revised notification from Schroder plc regarding their notifiable shareholding in the Company.
Schroder plc's notifiable shareholding in Osmetech is 57,708,988 shares, representing 12.97% of the Company's issued share capital and not as previously stated in the Holdings in Company announcement of 15 December 2008.
Furthermore, the Holdings in Company announcement of 15 December 2008 stated that the British Coal Staff Superannuation Scheme ("BCSSS") had a notifiable interest in the Company of 15,748,424 shares and Mineworkers' Pension Scheme ("MPS") had a notifiable interest in the Company of 15,719,681 shares. The Holdings of both BCSSS and MPS have now been included in the notifiable interest of Schroder plc above and do not require individual disclosure.
