Osmetech plc (OMH.L) announces that James White has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and resigned as a director of the Company on 16 July 2009. Chris Gleeson, Non-executive Chairman and Faiz Kayyem, Non-executive Vice Chairman, will jointly act as interim Chief Executive until a permanent appointment has been made. The search for a new Chief Executive Officer has commenced.
Chris Gleeson, Chairman and acting Chief Executive Officer said: "The Board wishes to thank James for his commitment and significant contribution to the development of Osmetech’s business during his time as Chief Executive Officer.”
